Himachal Pradesh is perhaps the most popular summer holiday destination of India. With its lush valleys, fierce rocky ravines, flowering meadow watered by the rivers Chenab, Ravi, Beas and Sutlej that originate in the snow bastions of the Himalaya, Himachal Pradesh makes a fairy-tale destination. Most of the Himachal Pradesh is unexplored and virgin from tourist point of view, though important places are well connected by road network. There is regular bus service between important places inside the state. However, having a private car is a better choice for the travelers who wish to tour more than one place of Himachal Pradesh. Outwardly Himachal Pradesh is connected by regular bus service, train and air services with Delhi.
